The After Party Fundraiser

What is the After Party?

The After Party is the first political movement for younger voters. It is the party that comes "after" one becomes disenfranchised with both the Republican and Democratic parties. So we welcome anyone from either side to come and join our party. It's not about the red team or the blue team, because, let's face it… both teams kinda suck right now. So come join a new team. A team that is all about honesty, transparency, and breaking the typical stereotype of what a "politician" is supposed to be. You know, the image of a clean, perfectly moral suit wearing family man (or woman) with a red or blue tie (or blouse), 2-3 kids and a golden retriever.

The After Party is not about that. You don't have to live up to a fake image if you want to make a difference in your community. Just because you have a tattoo, a drunk picture of yourself up on facebook, or you're (God forbid!) gay, doesn't mean you shouldn't be a candidate for public office. So we're trying to open up politics to all the people who never thought they fit in, but still wanted to help their communities. People who are afraid that they don't possess that squeaky clean background to run for office. If we can change things from the ground up, then we can make a difference. Believe it or not, it is who you vote for in your local elections that make more of a direct impact on your life than who you vote for in the Presidential election. So if you want to try and make a difference in your local community, and you think you have what it takes to run on The After Party ticket, send us your resume, and a short essay (200 words or less) on why you think you would be a great representative of The After Party, and we just might sponsor your initial campaign costs. We won't pay for everything, but we'll help get ya started, and provide that initial guidance, direction, and funding that you might need to become an elected official.
